Equipment necessary for regular weekend campouts with Troop 250

Sleeping bag (good to below freezing preferred)

A mess kit (this includes plate, bowl, cup and silverware)

A Tan Boy Scout Shirt and appropriate patches

Green Boy Scout Pants, and shorts, and socks, belt (Class A uniform) / Hat is optional

flash light

Poncho or Rain gear

good pair of shoes to be able to hike 5+ miles at moments notice

Duffle bag or back pack for personal gear

knife (only after Totin Chip is earned) no longer than width of palm/max. 3in

scout handbook and epaulets (Will be provided by Troop 250 for turned in registrations)

Personal hygiene gear like travel toothbrush, towel, soap, toothpaste
