• Sleeping bag (good to below freezing preferred)
• A mess kit (this includes plate, bowl, cup and silverware)
• A Tan Boy Scout Shirt and appropriate patches
• Green Boy Scout Pants, and shorts, and socks, belt (Class A uniform) / Hat is optional
• flash light
• Poncho or Rain gear
• good pair of shoes to be able to hike 5+ miles at moments notice
• Duffle bag or back pack for personal gear
• knife (only after Totin Chip is earned) no longer than width of palm/max. 3in
• scout handbook and epaulets (Will be provided by Troop 250 for turned in registrations)
• Personal hygiene gear like travel toothbrush, towel, soap, toothpaste
• compass
